One-Way vs Return Sahara Tours in Morocco
A return tour is simplest when you need to come back to the same city. A one-way or through-route is usually more efficient when the Sahara sits between your current city and the next major stop in your Morocco itinerary.

A return route prioritizes simplicity
Marrakech to Marrakech or Agadir to Agadir works well when the starting city is still your base after the desert. You keep the same origin and endpoint, which can simplify hotel bookings, flights and luggage planning.
The trade-off is backtracking. Some of the road network used to reach the Sahara must eventually be covered in the opposite direction, even when the sightseeing stops differ.
A through-route can turn transport into itinerary progress
Marrakech to Fes is the clearest example. If you already plan to visit both cities, the desert can sit between them instead of becoming a separate round trip from Marrakech.
The same logic applies to routes that finish in Agadir or Marrakech after starting elsewhere. The useful comparison is not only tour price; it is also what transfer or repositioning journey the route removes from the rest of your trip.
One-way does not automatically mean an easier final day
