How shared tours work

You share the departure

These are shared/group tours. Unrelated travelers may travel in the same vehicle. Quick Morocco does not present the launch departures as private or semi-private tours.

Vehicles, seating and pace

Desert departures normally use 8-seat or 17–18-seat air-conditioned vehicles. Additional vehicles may operate when needed. Group size and vehicle assignment vary by departure.

Desert routes include long driving sections, scheduled sightseeing and practical stops. Timing can change with traffic, weather, road conditions and group logistics.

Pickup and drop-off

Accessible accommodation is served directly when practical. If a riad or other accommodation cannot be reached by vehicle, a nearby practical meeting point is assigned. Desert-tour exact pickup details are sent one day before departure; day-trip pickup details are confirmed before departure. Check the product page for the route-specific end point.

Luggage

On desert tours, one carry-on-sized bag plus one small backpack or personal item is recommended. Contact support before travel if you need more luggage so vehicle space can be checked.

Standard and Luxury desert options

Standard uses a Sahara camp at or near the dune edge with shared toilets and showers. Luxury uses a camp deeper in the dunes with a private en-suite bathroom, shower and air conditioning. The route remains a shared departure and Standard and Luxury travelers may share the same vehicle.

Solo travelers and accommodation

One traveler can book a desert departure. A private room or tent is provided when availability allows. When sharing is required, solo travelers are paired with another traveler of the same gender. Named properties are not guaranteed and equivalent substitutions may be used when operationally necessary.

Camel alternative and day-trip differences

On the desert tours, travelers who do not want to ride a camel may use a 4x4 transfer to the camp. Day trips do not use the desert Standard/Luxury accommodation system and their meal, guide and timing details differ by product.
