Shared vs private Morocco desert tours

Choose shared when you are comfortable following a fixed group route and sharing the vehicle. Choose Quick Morocco Premium (Private) for a vehicle and driver for your party and upgraded accommodation on the published route. The itinerary and duration remain fixed, with 2–16 travelers per private booking. Custom routing is not included.

On a shared tour, unrelated travelers may join the same departure and vehicle. The route, major stops and pace are planned for the group. You still have personal time at some stops, but the departure cannot operate around one traveler's preferred schedule.

A shared departure lets a solo traveler join an existing route without needing a private vehicle. The trade-off is that the pace, pickup window and major stops remain group decisions rather than personal ones.

Families may care more about long road sections, fixed group timing and how often children need breaks than about whether the camp is Standard or Luxury. A private format can be more natural when the family needs control over stops or timing.
Quick Morocco does not publish a universal child-age rule, child discount or guaranteed child-seat availability across the desert tours, so family-specific requirements should be checked before booking.

Standard vs Luxury is a separate decision
On Quick Morocco desert tours, Standard and Luxury describe the Sahara camp option, not whether the vehicle is private. Standard uses a camp at or near the dune edge with shared toilets and showers. Luxury uses a camp deeper in the dunes with a private en-suite bathroom, shower and air conditioning. Travelers in different camp categories may still share the same vehicle.

Pickup and route flexibility also differ
Shared departures use an organized pickup schedule. Accessible accommodation is served directly when practical, while locations that cannot be reached by vehicle use the nearest workable meeting point. The exact pickup is communicated before departure.
