The current 2-day / 1-night options depart from Fes. They still include one Sahara camp night, but there is less calendar space around the road journey. That makes them useful for travelers with limited time, not for travelers seeking a slow Merzouga stay.
Three days buys route structure, not multiple dune days
Quick Morocco's Marrakech and Agadir desert products are currently 3 days / 2 nights, as are the longer Fes through-routes. The extra itinerary space helps distribute the cross-country journey and can change the final city, but it should not be confused with adding another full day in Merzouga.
