What to Cut When Your Morocco Itinerary Is Too Full
When a Morocco itinerary is too full, cut the weakest detours first. Do not shorten every stop until the whole trip becomes a list of check-ins, pickups and departures.

First cut: obvious backtracking
If a stop sends you several hours in the wrong direction and you then return over the same ground, challenge it first. This is especially important around the Sahara, where a return route can add another long transfer if your next city is elsewhere.
Second cut: repeated versions of the same experience
Do not stack Ait Ben Haddou as a separate Marrakech day trip immediately before a Sahara route that already passes through the same area. Do not add every available day trip from the same city just because each one is inexpensive.
Use the route you already booked before buying another product that repeats it.
Third cut: the destination you only added because it is famous
A place does not earn a spot simply because it appears on every Morocco list. Ask what you would actually do there, how long it takes to reach, and what it replaces.
Chefchaouen, Essaouira and the Sahara can all be excellent choices, but putting all three into a short first trip creates very different transport burdens.
Do not solve an overloaded trip with earlier alarms
Leaving at 6 a.m. every day does not fix bad geography. If the trip only works when every connection is perfect and every evening is late, the route is too full.
