Best if you want Essaouira itself to be the focus. Expect approximately 11–12 hours overall and substantial driving, with independent time for the medina, port, ramparts and waterfront.

Best for a mixed cultural and rural day: approximately 8 hours combining Taroudant’s medina and souks with Tiout’s palm oasis. A traditional local lunch is included.
